ABOUT SILVER CREEK MOUNTAIN BAND
Silver Creek Mountain Band originated in East London in 1972. The founding members were Dennis Schultz, Rod Dry and Roger Cummings. They turned professional in 1974 and toured the country sharing their brand of acoustic folk, folk rock, bluegrass and original music in all the major centres of the country where they built up a huge base of loyal fans over the years. Although members have come and gone over the past forty years or so, two of the founding members, Rod Dry (upright bass and vocals), and Dennis Schultz (guitar, banjo, dobro, fiddle and vocals), are still performing their varied brand of acoustic music and have been joined in the last two years by guitarist, vocalist, tin whistle and harp player, Bryan Daniel, who hails from East London.
