Join Ian Rossenrode at his talk on the creative aspects of Multimedia, which suggests by definition, three or more elements combined to make a complete project.
The project might take the form of an instructional video, an online educational video or a marketing social media video. But of course this is not necessarily limited to a video production. One might create digital comics, games, animations, VR* or even full-on film trailers. Plus some elements might then be printed.
While there is little doubt of the impact and memorability of visual content, more so these days, one should also be aware of meeting accessibility. e.g. in addition to the visual aspect, by having dynamic text and VO (Voice Over), and one might also have a downloadable text transcript. This especially applies to video learning modules.
Another aspect is AI (Artificial Intelligence). AI is appearing in almost every App and personally Ian believes it can be compared to the introduction of 3D and the 3D Printer or even further back to the advent of digital from analogue!
We have been using and experimenting with AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality), for some years. e.g. for virtual gaming or for museum and site virtual walk-throughs. Come and see what Ian will cover in his demonstation.
