Eden to Addo - Festival of Wild Kindness

Join us on one or all the days from 24-26 September 2026 for a series of Walks & Talks in the Eden to Addo corridors along the Garden Route to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and everything wild and kind. 24 September - Keurbooms Corridor - A morning with Katot Meyer, sharing his wisdom and ways with living on the land and protecting the future of our rivers and natural systems. 9am - 12pm. Pietersrivier Nature Reserve outside De Vlugt. Includes Katot's famous braai broodjies and coffee/tea. Cost R250. Own transport, approxmitely 1 hour drive from Plett (NB event will only go ahead if road access is confirmed safe after storm damage). 25 September - Robberg Coastal Corridor - Inqua Trail day hike, begins at Robberg Nature Reserve, you explore a corridor within the Cradle of Human Culture.The hike then ventures onto the wild side featuring world-class scenic views, multiple caves, and refreshing rock pools. A fun, steep chimney climb and numerous pristine, undisturbed geological, paleoanthropological, and archaeological sites highlight the days packed itinerary. The trails pinnacle is the awe-inspiring Amphitheatre, dating back to the Jurassic period. The day concludes at the beautiful Space Between, with an option for a light lunch before being shuttled back to Robberg Nature Reserve. Cost R650 (incl. packed lunch) Own transport to Robberg. 26 September - Bitou Corridor - Forest Walk & Fireside Chat, discover the botanical and bird wonders of the indigenous forest kloofs on Bobbejaanskloof Nature Reserve and then return for some sundowner drinks and snacks before the sharing of wilderness poetry and storytelling round the fire. Featuring Ian McCallum and Galeo Saintz. 4pm - 7:30pm Cost R350 (incl. a sundowner drink and snacks). Own transport.

Eden to Addo is a non-profit organisation founded in Plett and this year we celebrate our 20th anniversary in connecting landscapes, people and wild places. Our Festival of Wild Kindness is a series of Walks & Talks where you can connect with people, poetry and this exquisite place. Via living corridors we connect ecologically significant areas from Eden to Addo to protect biodiversity, restore ecosystem integrity, enable land restoration and foster sustainable livelihoods. We assist private landowners with biodiversity stewardship, linking the Garden Route National Park, Baviaanskloof World Heritage Site and Addo Elephant National Park.
