An exhibition of large works by Johan Vorster
Sediment
SEDIMENT - Sediment is an exhibition of large works by Johan Vorster
Sediment is the metaphysical deposit time
Where dreams and darkness,
form and suggestion
weave
Almost recognisable shapes
that we hold dear
to make sense
of the spaces in-between.
Sediment is a chance for us to distil
Unashamed, Authentic.
And surrender
to the art of making
Johan is an emerging artist. He is an Architect, Planner and Trail-builder by definition.
His recent exploration into the realm of ART has been a magical journey of discovery of both colour and form. Leaning on his architectural heritage and rationale, these works represent suggestion and architype rather than mere abstract. He works mostly in acrylics and watercolour.
